The goal was to create collage art headers that aligned with the brand’s voice and visual language as supplement to articles.

I handled visual direction and collage creation, working closely with respective writers. I focused on building a system specifically for article headers by setting internal rules for the usage of color, layering, composition, style and visual motifs, all while being consistent with the Scout brand as whole.

While these were headers primarily meant for articles published on the Scout website, use extended to social media where the collage became the image thumbnail when posts linked to the articles.
